Big Blue polyphosphate cartridge for pipes, water heaters and appliances
This 10″ × 4.5″ specialty cartridge uses polyphosphate-type scale-inhibiting media to help reduce limescale deposits and support corrosion control. It provides salt-free conditioning without electricity, brine or softener regeneration.

How it works
Conditions hardness minerals without removing them
A controlled amount of polyphosphate dissolves into the water and helps keep calcium, magnesium and trace iron suspended. This makes the minerals less likely to attach to heating elements, plumbing walls, faucets and appliance surfaces as hard scale.

Installation and replacement

- ✓Position it after sediment and carbon filtration
- ✓Use with cold water only
- ✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the housing for leaks
- ✓Replace approximately every 6 months or sooner in very hard water
- ✓Use a calendar reminder because there may be no taste or pressure signal when media is exhausted
