5-micron pleated cartridge for compatible 10″ × 4.5″ Big Blue whole-house systems
This pleated polyester sediment cartridge is designed as a reusable first-stage filter for homes with moderate-to-heavy suspended sediment. Its expanded pleated surface helps capture dirt, sand, silt and visible rust particles while supporting practical whole-house flow.

What it does
Captures suspended particles before they reach downstream filters and equipment
The accordion-style pleated media provides more filtration surface than a conventional spun cartridge. This can increase dirt-holding capacity, support higher flow and allow the cartridge to be cleaned and reused several times when the media remains in good condition.
