3/4″ male-to-male plastic union nipple with O-ring seal

This short plastic union nipple connects two compatible 3/4″ female NPT ports, such as adjacent whole-house filter housing heads. The integrated O-ring provides a face seal that helps create a leak-resistant connection with light hand tightening.

What it does

Joins compatible filter housings without a long pipe connection

The nipple threads into two facing 3/4″ female NPT ports to create a compact housing-to-housing connection. It is commonly used between stages in dual- and triple-stage whole-house filtration systems.

Installation guidance

✓Shut off the water and relieve system pressure before installation
✓Inspect the O-ring for cuts, flattening, twisting or debris
✓Align both components carefully so the threads start straight
✓Hand-tighten firmly, then add no more than approximately 1/4 turn if needed
✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the connection for leakage
✓Replace the O-ring or connector if damaged rather than applying excessive torque

Before purchase

Good to know

Confirm 3/4″ female NPT ports
The connector will not fit 1″, 1/2″ or non-NPT threaded ports.

Hand-tighten only
Heavy wrench torque can crack the plastic body, deform the O-ring or damage housing-head threads.

Thread tape is usually unnecessary
The O-ring is intended to create the primary seal. Excessive tape may prevent correct face seating.

Inspect the O-ring during service
Replace it if it becomes cut, flattened, stretched, twisted or permanently compressed.

Cold-water residential use
Do not use on hot-water lines or industrial systems that exceed the listed pressure limit.

Face alignment matters
Matching thread size alone does not guarantee that the O-ring will seat correctly against every third-party component.

This product includes one plastic union nipple connector. Filter housings, replacement O-rings, valves, brackets and other plumbing components are not included. Verify thread size, mating-face geometry, pressure rating and component alignment before installation.
