Centaur® catalytic carbon for chloramine, chlorine and mild sulfur-odor treatment
This 10″ × 2.5″ specialty cartridge uses Centaur® catalytic activated carbon from Calgon Carbon. It is designed as an upgrade over standard GAC when chloramine, chlorine-related taste and odor, mild hydrogen-sulfide odor, or trace iron concerns require stronger catalytic treatment.

Provides broader chemical and odor treatment than standard GAC
Catalytic carbon is engineered for reactions that standard activated carbon handles less efficiently, especially chloramine conversion and mild hydrogen-sulfide odor treatment.

Installation and maintenance

- ✓Operate within the pressure, temperature and flow limits of the complete system
- ✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the housing for leaks after replacement
- ✓Flush the cartridge to drain before normal use
