Specialty ion-exchange cartridge for low-to-moderate dissolved iron and hardness
This 10″ × 2.5″ cartridge is filled with sodium-form cation-exchange resin—the same general type of media used in water softeners. It helps reduce clear-water ferrous iron while also exchanging calcium and magnesium hardness minerals.

What it does
Reduces dissolved iron and softens water in one specialty stage
As water passes through the resin, sodium ions are exchanged for dissolved ferrous iron and for the calcium and magnesium that cause hardness. This helps reduce rust staining, metallic taste and scale while protecting downstream filtration equipment.

Installation and maintenance
