5-micron sediment cartridge for compatible whole-house and reverse-osmosis systems
This standard 10″ × 2.5″ drop-in cartridge helps capture suspended particles before they reach carbon filters, RO membranes, appliances and downstream plumbing. It is commonly used as the first filtration stage in compatible whole-house and under-sink systems.

Installation and maintenance
- ✓Shut off the water supply and relieve housing pressure before opening
- ✓Install only in a compatible 10″ × 2.5″ slim housing
- ✓Use as the first stage before carbon or specialty filtration whenever possible
- ✓Inspect and clean the housing sump and O-ring during replacement
- ✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the housing for leaks
- ✓Replace when visibly loaded, when pressure drops, or at the recommended interval

This sediment filter does a great job catching visible particles before the water enters my RO system. I’ve noticed less buildup on the carbon filters after using this. Easy to install and lasts a long time. Highly recommend!
