High-capacity pleated sediment filtration
Reusable 5-micron pleated cartridge for well water and heavier sediment
This standard 10″ × 2.5″ pleated polypropylene cartridge provides more surface area than a conventional spun sediment filter. It is designed as a first-stage prefilter for compatible whole-house, under-sink and reverse-osmosis systems where sediment loading is moderate to heavy.

Cleaning and replacement
- ✓Shut off the water supply and relieve housing pressure before opening
- ✓Remove the cartridge and rinse from the clean side toward the dirty side
- ✓Use clean water only; do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive tools
- ✓Reinstall only if the media remains intact and flow improves after cleaning
- ✓Replace when flow remains low, the pleats are damaged, or cleaning no longer restores performance
- ✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the housing for leaks after service
