Coconut-shell GAC cartridge for whole-house chlorine, taste and odor treatment
This 10″ × 4.5″ Big Blue cartridge is filled with premium coconut-shell granular activated carbon. It provides the lower flow restriction of a loose GAC bed while helping improve chlorine-related taste and odor throughout a compatible whole-house filtration system.

Installation and maintenance
- ✓Shut off the water supply and relieve housing pressure before opening
- ✓Install only in a compatible 10″ × 4.5″ Big Blue housing
- ✓Install a sediment cartridge upstream to protect the carbon bed
- ✓Inspect and clean the housing sump and O-ring during replacement
- ✓Pressurize slowly and inspect the housing for leaks
- ✓Flush to drain until loose carbon fines are cleared before normal use
