Antibacterial 5-stage Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System (good for travel or not frequent use), 75/150 GPD membrane, SKU# 002-UBK2

Description

Portable 5-stage countertop reverse osmosis

Countertop RO system with KDF-55/T33 post-filtration and 75 or 150 GPD membrane

This compact countertop reverse-osmosis system connects to a compatible faucet or utility-water outlet without permanent under-sink installation. It combines sediment, coconut-shell carbon, a high-rejection RO membrane, and two post-treatment stages for drinking-water purification at home, in an apartment, RV, office, or temporary location.

Why choose this configuration

Designed for portable use and periods of intermittent operation

The KDF-55/T33 post-filter combines activated carbon with KDF-55 media. The carbon helps polish taste and odor after the membrane, while KDF-55 helps control oxidation-reduction conditions and may help inhibit bacterial growth within the filter media during suitable operating conditions. This does not sterilize the water or replace proper sanitation and filter replacement.

Portable connection

No Permanent Under-Sink Installation

Connects to a compatible kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, shower arm, or garden/laundry outlet using the selected adapter.

Intermittent-use option

KDF-55/T33 Post-Filter

Provides post-RO taste polishing and media protection that may be helpful when the system is used less frequently.

Five filtration stages

From sediment protection to final water polishing

1

5-Micron Sediment

Helps capture rust, sand, dirt, and other suspended particles before they reach the carbon filter and membrane.

2

Coconut-Shell Carbon

Helps reduce chlorine, taste, odor, and selected organic compounds that can damage the RO membrane or affect water quality.

3

TFC RO Membrane

Helps reduce dissolved salts, hardness minerals, fluoride, nitrate, arsenic, lead, and many other dissolved contaminants.

4–5

Selected Post-Filters

Choose DI plus KDF-55/T33 for lower-TDS polishing, or KDF-55/T33 plus calcite for mineral and pH adjustment.

Choose your post-treatment

Two configurations for different water goals

Option 1

DI + KDF-55/T33

The mixed-bed DI cartridge further polishes dissolved ions after reverse osmosis, while the KDF-55/T33 cartridge improves taste and helps protect the post-filter media. Best for users seeking very low post-RO TDS.

Option 2

KDF-55/T33 + Calcite

The KDF-55/T33 cartridge polishes taste, while calcite adds calcium carbonate and can increase the pH of acidic RO water. Final pH depends on source-water chemistry, flow, and contact time.

Key benefits

High-rejection filtration in a compact countertop format

RO

Reverse-Osmosis Purification
Helps reduce dissolved minerals, salts, metals, fluoride, nitrate, and other membrane-rejectable contaminants.

PORT

Portable Installation
No dedicated under-sink faucet, storage tank, drain saddle, or permanent plumbing alteration is required.

75/150

Two Output Options
Choose 75 GPD for standard output or 150 GPD for faster collection under suitable pressure and temperature.

KDF

KDF-55/T33 Post-Filter
Helps polish taste and may help inhibit biological growth within the filter media.

APT

Multiple Adapter Options
Choose a standard faucet, garden/laundry, pull-down faucet, or another supported connection.

Assembled in the USA
The current listing states that the complete system is designed and assembled in the United States.

Output expectations

Countertop RO produces purified water slowly by design

Actual production depends on water pressure, temperature, source-water TDS, membrane condition, and flow-restrictor configuration. Collect purified water in a pitcher or container in advance rather than expecting faucet-like flow.

75 GPD Membrane
Produces approximately one gallon in 22 minutes under suitable conditions, or roughly 2.5–3 gallons per hour.
150 GPD Membrane
Produces approximately one gallon in 11 minutes under suitable conditions, or roughly 5–6 gallons per hour.

The GPD rating is a membrane laboratory rating, not a guaranteed household output. Cold water, lower pressure, high source TDS, and an aging membrane will reduce production.
Reduction guidance

What reverse osmosis may help reduce

Reduction performance varies with source-water chemistry, pressure, temperature, membrane condition, and maintenance. The system should not be used with microbiologically unsafe or unknown-quality water without suitable disinfection before the RO system.

RO membrane helps reduce

Total dissolved solids
Calcium and magnesium
Sodium
Fluoride
Arsenic
Lead
Nitrate
Sulfate
Chromium
Copper

Prefilters and post-filters help reduce

Sediment
Rust particles
Chlorine
Unpleasant taste
Odor
Selected VOCs
Residual ionic impurities with DI option

Connection options

Select the adapter that matches the water outlet

STD

Standard Kitchen Faucet

Designed for faucets with a removable aerator and compatible male or female aerator threads.

3/4

Garden or Laundry Outlet

Uses a compatible 3/4″ garden-hose-thread adapter for a utility sink, washer outlet, or outdoor cold-water connection.

PULL

Pull-Down or Sprayer Faucet

Requires a special adapter. Compatibility is not guaranteed because pull-down faucet threads vary widely.

OTHER

Bathroom or Shower Connection

Other adapters may be available for bathroom faucets, shower arms, or handheld-shower connections.

Filter replacement

Maintain the system according to water quality and usage

Prefilters and Post-Filters
Replace approximately every 8–12 months, or sooner when taste, odor, flow, TDS, or water quality indicates exhaustion.
RO Membrane
Replace approximately every 24–36 months, depending on source-water quality, pressure, prefilter maintenance, and measured rejection.

Flush new carbon filters thoroughly. Initial carbon fines and conditioning water can temporarily affect taste and TDS readings. Evaluate membrane performance only after the system has been flushed and stabilized.
Before purchase

Good to know

!
“Antibacterial” does not mean sterilization
KDF-55 may help inhibit growth within the filter media, but the system is not a UV sterilizer or certified microbiological purifier.

!
RO creates drain water
The system divides feed water into purified and concentrate streams; plan for approximately 2.4 gallons of drain water per gallon collected.

!
Output is not faucet-fast
Collect water in advance. Actual production can be substantially slower in cold water or at low pressure.

!
Pull-down adapter fit is not guaranteed
Sprayer and pull-down faucet threads are not standardized, so photos and measurements may be needed.

!
Calcite pH results vary
The current listing mentions pH 8.5, but final pH depends on source chemistry and should not be guaranteed.

!
Do not use hot water
Hot water can damage the membrane, tubing, housings, and filter media.

This system is intended for treated potable water. It should not be used to make microbiologically unsafe or unknown-quality water safe without suitable upstream disinfection. Contaminant reduction claims depend on the installed membrane and cartridges, water chemistry, pressure, temperature, flow, and maintenance.
Not sure which membrane, post-filter, or adapter option to choose?
Send the source-water TDS, faucet photos, water pressure, intended use, and desired final-water characteristics.
