Description
Condition final-stage RO water with alkaline, ORP-related, and tourmaline mineral media
This final-stage inline conditioning filter combines alkaline media, ORP-related media, and tourmaline to improve the mineral character, taste, mouthfeel, and measurable oxidation-reduction potential of purified water. It is intended as a polishing and conditioning stage after RO or carbon filtration—not as a primary contaminant-removal filter.
What this media is designed to do
Lower ORPDesigned to shift measured ORP into a negative range under suitable conditions.
Mineral BalanceAlkaline and tourmaline media contribute to the final mineral profile of low-TDS water.
Mild pH BufferingSupports a gently alkaline finished-water profile rather than aggressive alkalization.
Smoother TasteMineral conditioning can make highly purified RO water taste less flat.
ORP Conditioning Media — Designed to help shift the oxidation-reduction potential of purified water toward a lower, more negative ORP range under suitable conditions. This gives the final filtration stage a more specialized water-conditioning role beyond basic filtration. Actual ORP depends on source-water chemistry, flow rate, contact time, temperature, and media condition.
Natural Tourmaline Mineral Media — A naturally occurring mineral used in specialty remineralization filters to add mineral character and complement the final conditioning of low-TDS RO water. Tourmaline media can contribute trace mineral components depending on water chemistry and contact time.
- ORP Water Conditioning — Helps shift measured oxidation-reduction potential under suitable water conditions.
- Natural Tourmaline Media — Adds a specialty mineral component to low-TDS RO water.
- Mineral Character — Helps restore some of the natural mineral feel removed during reverse osmosis.
- Smoother Finished Taste — Final-stage conditioning can make purified water taste less flat and more balanced.
- Advanced Post-RO Stage — Designed for customers who want more than basic carbon polishing.
