How it works

Reverse osmosis uses water pressure to move feed water across a semipermeable TFC membrane. The membrane helps reduce dissolved salts, minerals, metals, nitrate, fluoride, and other membrane-rejectable substances while purified water passes to the product-water side.

Actual household production is normally lower because water pressure, temperature, feed-water TDS, membrane condition, and system design vary.
