Standard 1812 TFC membrane for compatible under-sink reverse-osmosis systems
This 50 GPD thin-film composite reverse-osmosis membrane is an economical replacement for compatible residential RO systems using a standard 1812 membrane housing. Its lower production rate makes it especially well suited to traditional under-sink systems that store purified water in a pressure tank.

A 50 GPD membrane produces water more slowly than higher-output residential membranes. That makes it a practical choice for under-sink systems with a storage tank, where purified water is produced gradually and stored for on-demand use.

Reverse osmosis uses water pressure to move feed water across a semipermeable TFC membrane. The membrane helps reduce dissolved salts, minerals, metals, nitrate, fluoride, and other membrane-rejectable substances while product water passes to the purified-water side.
