Output expectations

Approximately one gallon every 11–22 minutes

Countertop reverse osmosis produces a slow purified stream by design. Actual output depends on pressure, temperature, source-water TDS, membrane condition, and flow-restrictor configuration.

75 GPD Membrane
Produces approximately one gallon in 22 minutes under suitable conditions, or about 2.5–3 gallons per hour.
150 GPD Membrane
Produces approximately one gallon in 11 minutes under suitable conditions, or about 5–6 gallons per hour.

The GPD rating is a standardized membrane rating, not guaranteed household output. Cold water, lower pressure, high source TDS, clogged prefilters, and membrane age reduce production.

Water-quality expectations

Final pH and TDS vary by selected post-filter

Alkaline Option
The page gives an example of approximately 35–65 ppm TDS and pH near 8.5–9 from source water around 300 ppm. This is an example, not a guarantee.
Mineral Option
The page gives an example of approximately 25–55 ppm TDS and pH near 8.0–8.5. Actual results depend on source chemistry and media contact time.

Flush the system for at least 4–6 days of regular use before evaluating stable taste, TDS, or pH. New carbon and mineral media can temporarily affect readings.
Filter replacement

Maintain according to usage and measured performance

Prefilters and Post-Filters
Replace approximately every 8–12 months or up to 1,000 gallons, and sooner if flow, taste, odor, chlorine breakthrough, or pH indicates exhaustion.
RO Membrane
Replace approximately every 24 months or when measured membrane rejection declines below the desired level.

Before purchase

Good to know

!
Alkaline results vary
pH 8–9.5 is presented as an example range, not a guaranteed result for every water source.

!
Mineral release is not fixed
The amount of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals added depends on flow, contact time, water chemistry, and cartridge age.

!
Not a microbiological purifier
Do not use microbiologically unsafe or unknown-quality water without suitable upstream disinfection.

!
RO creates drain water
Plan for approximately 2.4 gallons of concentrate water per gallon of purified water collected.

!
Output is not faucet-fast
Collect water in advance. Low pressure and cold water can significantly slow production.

!
Pull-down fit is limited
The special adapter fits only some pull-down and sprayer faucets because thread designs vary.

This system is intended for treated potable cold water. Reduction, TDS, pH, mineral, and production results depend on source-water chemistry, pressure, temperature, cartridge condition, flow, and maintenance. Health, detoxification, immune-support, antioxidant, and negative-ion claims are not included in this description.

I was actually buying water from local grocery store, it was 0.40 cents per gallon, not bad. Until one day I bought a TDS meter and realized that my RO from grocery was virtually the same as tap water. It even tasted like tap water, I was paying 40 cents a gallon for tap water, what a rip off. Then I went to Safeway. Their machine showed a TDS of less than 50 PPM and it tasted great, but cost 50 cents a gallon. Then their machine broke, and all they sold were 5 gallon jugs for $7.50. So I was paying over a dollar a gallon for drinking water. So in a little over 2.5 months I was paying about what this water filter cost.

If you buy this filter you for sure will need a TDS and PH meters. When you first start it up the TDS will be sky high until it flushes itself out and the timing on that depends on your water pressure. Start collecting water when it gets below 45 PPM. Seems like the longer you run this filter the lower the number gets and the better the water. But when you start it back up the numbers are high again for the first 20 minutes or so, I drain that off before I collect it.
Whatever you do, don’t ever drink your tap water no matter how good you think it is. I’m a retired chemist and let me tell you that there is no way to test your water for everything. Most water tests will only test the basic few parameters. For a wide spectrum of compounds you would need to spend thousands of dollars in various tests, and even then you could be contaminated with a new designer drug or something that will bypass the tests and they would never detect it. What you really want is RO water, but not with a TDS of zero, you want minerals added back. This system is the best I’ve seen, it will remove all compounds and minerals and then add back just enough to make it taste good and 100% safe.

I received this 5-stage countertop RO system as a gift, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of water purification. It effectively reduces the TDS (total dissolved solids) from 750 to 60, ensuring a remarkable level of cleanliness. Initially, I had concerns about the pH level, as my pH reader indicated that the RO water was around 6-6.5. However, the customer service representative I contacted was outstanding. They promptly addressed my concerns by sending me an alkalizing filter and a pH meter, completely free of charge. After replacing the last filter with the one they provided, I noticed a definite increase in pH.

One of the advantages of this system is its compact size, taking up minimal space on the countertop. Additionally, the installation process is incredibly easy, and replacing the filters is a breeze. Considering the affordable price point, it offers exceptional value for achieving completely purified water. The taste of the water is fantastic, comparable to, if not better than, bottled water. I wholeheartedly recommend this RO system. Not only does it provide peace of mind by offering safer water compared to systems with under-sink tanks, but the company behind it also delivers a great buying experiencev

I really love this system. I have been using it approximately for 1 week. It is very easy to connect to the faucet. I read the manual that test needs to be done after 20 gallon of water passing through the system. I was able to test today. Originally my tap water TDS was 340ppm, after filtration it’s 45 ppm, pH 8.6 is little higher then I expected (my target was pH 8.5-8.7) but I cool with it. I’m happy with purchase.

Here’s the harsh truth: nearly all septic companies just service tanks. They’re like quick-fix salesmen at a demolition convention. But Septic Solutions? These guys are unique. It all originated back in the early 2000s when Art and his family—just kids scarcely tall enough to lift a shovel—helped install their family’s septic system alongside a grizzled pro. Visualize this: three kids waist-deep in Pennsylvania clay, learning how soil permeability affects drainage while their friends played Xbox. “We never just dig ditches,” Art explained to me last winter, hot coffee cup in hand. “We learned how ground whispers truths. A patch of wetland vegetation here? That’s Mother Nature screaming ‘high water table.'”
