Description

ALK-QC Inline Alkaline Filter

✅ Raises pH to ~ 8.4–9.3

✅ Smoother taste + mineral balance

✅ Final stage after RO

✅ Push-to-connect

Purpose

Increases the pH level of RO water to approximately 8.4–9.3 to improve taste and add beneficial alkaline properties. Drinking alkaline water helps restore natural mineral balance after filtration, supports optimal hydration, and improves taste. A higher pH may help neutralize acidity in the body, support digestion, reduce acid reflux symptoms, and promote overall wellness with smoother, more refreshing drinking water.

Ideal For

  • Countertop and under-sink RO systems (as a final stage)
  • Alkaline drinking water
  • Applications requiring enhanced mineral balance and a smoother taste
  • Use after the RO membrane and carbon polishing filter (T33)

Content / Media Composition

  • Calcite (Calcium Carbonate) – adds essential calcium and helps stabilize pH
  • FIR (Far Infrared Ceramic Balls) – supports improved water structure and absorption
  • Alkaline Ceramic Balls – enhances alkalinity and raises pH
  • Tourmaline Balls – contributes to ORP reduction and mineralization
  • Magnesium Media – naturally boosts pH and adds trace minerals

Flow Direction

Water enters from IN and exits from OUT toward the faucet or dispensing line.
Used as the last stage in RO systems.

🔧 Installation Tips

Tubing Size

  • Most RO systems use 1/4″ OD tubing (standard RO size).
  • Some countertop RO systems and specialty setups use 3/8″ OD tubing.
  • Tubing size refers to the outside diameter (OD) of the tube.

When Do You Need Elbow Adapters?

  • Select 3/8″ OD Tubing if your system uses larger tubing.
  • We include 2 elbow adapters to connect the filter to 3/8″ OD tubing.

✔ No tools required   ✔ Push-to-connect installation

When Do You Need a T-Fitting?

A T-fitting (1/4″ stem × 1/4″ OD × 1/4″ OD) can help if you are:

  • Adding the inline filter to an existing 1/4″ RO line
  • Wanting an easier install with a clean branch connection
  • Installing between tubing lines without reworking your layout

✔ Optional accessory   ✔ Makes installation easier for some setups

Not Sure Which Option to Choose?

  • If unsure, select 3/8″ OD Tubing. The filter comes with 1/4″ connections, and we include
two elbow fittings for 3/8″ OD tubing in the package.
  • Message us before ordering—we’ll help you pick the right fittings.

▶️ Video Installation Guidance

Because RO systems and plumbing layouts can vary, there are multiple valid ways to install an inline filter.

  • Search YouTube for “inline RO filter installation”
  • Choose a video that matches your system type (under-sink RO, countertop RO, post-filter installation, etc.)

Visual step-by-step videos can make installation easier and faster.
