This premium 250 GPD thin-film composite reverse-osmosis membrane is manufactured in Taiwan by Clean Pure / Swun Yuan Filmtech. It combines high residential water-production capacity with NSF/ANSI 58 certification for membrane-component material requirements.
This membrane delivers the same 250 GPD rated production class as the standard 250 GPD residential membrane while adding NSF/ANSI 58 component certification for material requirements. It is a strong choice for customers who prefer a premium membrane from a manufacturer with current NSF listing coverage.
Well suited to compatible countertop systems where purified water is produced directly and faster fill time is important.
Suitable for compatible tank-based or tankless under-sink systems designed for a 250 GPD membrane and matching flow restrictor.
Swun Chyan Group / Swun Yuan Filmtech is listed by NSF under NSF/ANSI 58 for its TW-series reverse-osmosis membrane components. The applicable membrane family is certified for material requirements. This certification supports the suitability of the membrane component materials for use in an RO drinking-water system; it should not be interpreted as certification of specific contaminant-reduction percentages for this individual membrane.
Reverse osmosis uses water pressure to move feed water across a semipermeable thin-film composite membrane. The membrane helps reduce dissolved salts, minerals, metals, nitrate, fluoride, and other membrane-rejectable substances while purified water passes to the product-water side.
Dissolved Solids
Helps reduce overall TDS and dissolved mineral content.
Fluoride
Helps reduce fluoride ions under suitable operating conditions.
Nitrate / Nitrite
Helps reduce nitrate and nitrite in feed water.
Selected Metals
Helps reduce dissolved metals such as lead, arsenic, mercury, chromium, and copper.
Dissolved Minerals
Helps reduce calcium, magnesium, sodium, and other dissolved salts.
Certified Component
Manufacturer membrane family is listed under NSF/ANSI 58 for material requirements.
GPD means gallons per day. A 250 GPD membrane is rated for approximately 10.4 gallons per hour if operated continuously under standardized test conditions. Actual household production is usually lower because feed-water pressure, temperature, TDS, membrane condition, and system design vary.

Shut Off and Depressurize
Turn off the feed water and release system pressure before opening the membrane housing.
Install and Fully Seat
Insert the membrane according to the housing design and make sure the sealing end is fully seated.
Check Prefilters and Restrictor
Confirm that sediment and carbon prefilters are serviceable and that the drain-flow restrictor matches the 250 GPD membrane.
Flush Before Use
Run and discard the initial product water after installation, then allow the system to stabilize before relying on TDS readings.
