- 4th Stage: Premium T33 coconut shell activated carbon filter that removes any remaining taste or odor.
System Highlights:
This reverse osmosis system produces approximately 3–6 gallons of purified water per hour. It is ideal for homes with a relatively clean municipal water supply (TDS levels between 20–300 ppm). It removes more than 220 hazardous contaminants.
What to Expect:
- If your tap water is around 300 ppm TDS, expect filtered water to measure approximately 20–46 ppm after 4–6 days of regular use.
- System dimensions: 14″ × 6″ × 6″
- Produces 1 gallon every 11–22 minutes (purification speed depends on membrane GPD rating; water drips slowly rather than flows).
- RO systems separate water into purified and wastewater streams. Typical ratio: 1 part purified water to 2.4 parts wastewater.
Recommended Accessories: Inline Mechanical Shut-Off Timer
This optional inline mechanical timer is highly recommended when using a countertop RO system.
It automatically shuts off the water supply after a preset time, making it easy to fill containers without
worrying about overflows.
- Automatically stops water flow when your container is full
- Prevents spills and water damage
- Perfect for unattended or overnight filling
- No electricity or batteries required

Great product wish I had purchased it earlier
I received this at the end of July 2020, and have been using it for all my drinking and cooking water. Out of the box, it was putting out water at 2ppm on a municipal water supply that was around 243 ppm. It’s currently January 2021, and that’s when I took the picture. It is still producing excellent water at 2 ppm.
It’s a one person/one cat household, but several times I have accidentally left it running all night long wasting gallons of water. So my usage is probably a normal three person family. Takes about 28 minutes to fill a gallon. I Just set a timer now so I don’t forget.
It is super easy to install, sometimes I’ll just leave it hooked up and use the bypass valve. But it’s stores neatly on the shelf above my sink when not in use. I will update this review before it’s time to replace the filter.
Well worth the money, it will save you hundreds of empty plastic bottles and lugging cases of water around, or buying filters that really don’t perform anywhere near the level that this filter does. My goal was to remove the poisonous fluoride & lead in my municipal water supply, and this gets that out along with nearly every other particulate matter. Cheers!

Works very slow , but it is ok…

I am genetically modifying plants and growing them via hydroponic (dwc) garden the PPM is a constant 23 ppm once you pump the first gallon or so through. If you are looking for a portable filter this is definitely the one. My water tests at around 240 ppm here at the house so my waste was about 3:1. The shipping was very fast.

Excellent unit. RO unit is truly an outstanding water filter option, especially considering its unbeatable price. I purchased this unit several months ago, and I occasionally check the ppm levels approximately once a month. During my last check, the ppm reading was an impressive 12. This level of filtration is truly remarkable. To ensure its continued performance, I do recommend investing in a TDS (total dissolved solids) pen. This handy tool allows you to monitor the effectiveness of the system over time and keep an eye on its ongoing performance. It’s a worthwhile addition to maintain confidence in the quality of the filtered water.

Yummy! MyAquaFilter Countertop RO unit is an excellent choice for those who are tired of constantly purchasing short-lived water filter pitchers for their fridge. However, there are a couple of minor improvements that could enhance the user experience. Firstly, I believe the hoses should be longer, as once the system is attached and in place, your faucet becomes somewhat restricted. Additionally, a true quick connect feature would be beneficial. When it comes to taste, the Countertop RO system delivers delicious water. Even if you leave it out overnight, the water retains its refreshing flavor and doesn’t develop the unpleasant taste that is often associated with other filtered waters. This is particularly noteworthy for those, like myself, who keep a glass of water on their nightstand and dislike the taste of water in the morning. In conclusion, while there are a few minor improvements that could be made, the Countertop Reverse Osmosis system is an ideal alternative to short-lived water filter pitchers. Its ability to consistently provide great-tasting water, even after sitting out overnight, makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a convenient and refreshing drinking water solution.
