Replacement procedure

✓Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before opening the housings
✓Install the 5-micron sediment cartridge in the first housing
✓Install the 10-micron CTO carbon block in the second housing
✓Inspect and clean the housing sumps and compatible O-rings
✓Pressurize the system slowly and inspect for leaks
✓Flush the new carbon filter until the water runs clear before normal use

This set fits standard 10″ × 2.5″ slim housings and does not fit Big Blue housings.

Install in the correct order
The sediment cartridge must be installed first, followed by the CTO carbon block.

This is the standard set
The final stage is a regular CTO carbon block, not the premium activated coconut-shell carbon block used in the premium set.

This set is not a water softener
The included media does not remove dissolved hardness minerals or prevent all mineral scale.

Check for chloramine
The standard CTO carbon block is intended primarily for chlorine. Chloramine generally requires catalytic carbon.

Replacement timing varies
Heavy sediment, reduced pressure, high use, or returning chlorine-related taste and odor may require earlier replacement.

This product includes replacement cartridges only. Filter housings, mounting bracket, housing wrench, valves and plumbing fittings are not included. It is not intended to make microbiologically unsafe or unknown-quality water safe to drink.
